Wild Games & Beginner's Bushcraft

When:
15 July 26 - 15 July 26 1pm

Join us at the Botanic Garden for an engaging afternoon of nature-based play and practical bushcraft skills.

This outdoor session invites children to connect with nature through a series of fun, hands-on games and activities designed to build awareness of the natural environment and introduce basic wilderness survival skills.

Children will learn how to identify and gather natural materials used for fire preparation, and enjoy making traditional damper (no fire will be lit during the session).

Delivered in a relaxed and supportive setting by experienced facilitators, this program inspires a love of nature while encouraging curiosity, building confidence, and fostering a lasting appreciation for the outdoors.

Activities are suitable for children aged 8 to 12 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Cost: $20 per child. Places are limited.
